Extension of the T1 tram line

On Sunday, 7 July 2024, Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer and senior Luxtram representatives officially opened the new section of the T1 tram line. This section now connects the "Lycée Bouneweg" stop (former terminus) in the Gare district with the "Stadion" transfer hub in Gasperich, which is the new terminus of the line.

Passengers can now take the tram all the way to Stade de Luxembourg

The T1 tram line now takes passengers all the way to the Stade de Luxembourg in Cloche d'Or, and serves five new stops, including two multimodal transfer hubs.
