Temporary closure of the Glacis car park

The Glacis car park will be temporarily closed due to the Schueberfouer, which will be held on Champ du Glacis from Friday, 23 August to Wednesday, 11 September 2024:

• Phase 1: in effect since Sunday, 14 July
• Phase 2: in effect since Thursday, 25 July
• Phase 3: in effect since Saturday, 27 July
• Phase 4: in effect since Sunday, 4 August
• Phase 5: closed as of 8:00 on Saturday, 17 August

Avenue de la Faïencerie will be closed to all traffic on the section between Allée Scheffer and Boulevard de la Foire from 8:00 on Saturday, 17 August 2024 to Saturday, 14 September 2024 (phase 5).

In addition, the City wishes to inform the public that the Rond-Point Schuman car park will also be closed to the public (except for holders of a season parking pass) from midnight (00:00) on Wednesday, 23 August to 1:00 on Tuesday, 12 September due to the Schueberfouer.

Dynamic parking guidance system

For information on available spaces, motorists are strongly advised to use the dynamic parking guidance system (Parkleitsystem). In addition, the City of Luxembourg wishes to remind visitors of its many P+Rs, which have excellent public transport connections to the fair.

The numbers of available parking spaces can be viewed using the cityapp and on parking.vdl.lu.

Appropriate signage will be put in place by the City of Luxembourg's Service Circulation (Traffic Department).
