Gaasserockbluesband
About
Gaasserockbluesband was founded following an announcement in Luxbazar which read: « bass player is looking for a bluesband ».
A trio, composed of Pascal Graffé, Mäx Courtois and Fränk Henkes started to meet once a week to play Blues. More and more Blues Rock was gradually incorporated to the sound of the band as well as Luxembourgish songs drawn from Fränk’s quill.
The initial gigs were performed as a trio. During a show at the Liquid Bar in the Grund the band invited Régis Rolando-Eugio to play along and from that moment onwards we were now a quartet. Nicolas Wise took the spot behind the shooting range to replace Pascal.
It was with Fenny Gillen, who we knew from Dali’s Dream, that the band’s long-awaited wish was fulfilled of having a pianist and hammond player on stage.

Recently this year, the Bottlenecks represented the Country of Luxemburg at the European Blues Challenge 2024 in Braga/Portugal, with the special support of the Ministry of Culture.

Based in Luxembourg, Ramblin' South is a dynamic band that captures the spirit of southern rock, blues, and jazz. Since forming in 2015, the band has quickly become known for their powerful performances at notable venues and festivals across Luxembourg.
Noteworthy for their vibrant live performances and Lisa's captivating vocals, the band combines original compositions with skillful interpretations of classic tracks. Their prowess earned them the top spot at the Luxembourg Blues Contest in 2019, leading to their participation in the European Blues Challenge in Malmö in 2022.

Sneaky Pete is an experienced blues, rock, jazz, and soul band.
Founded in 1992 by Claude Daleiden, Sneaky Pete has successfully influenced the music scene in Luxembourg and the border regions for over 30 years.
The Band is a conglomeration of six musicians from Ukraine, Luxembourg, France, and Belgium. These diverse musical currents influence their own compositions.
Their music is elaborate, catchy, and irresistible. It is influenced mainly by the power and timbre of Natalya Sivova's (UA) voice, the versatile and sensitive guitar of Claude Daleiden (LU), the harmony and fusion of sounds on the piano by Fred Janovec (FR), the precision and strength of the rhythm section composed by Georges Konen (LU) on drums and each beat on the precise rhyme of René Quesnoit (LU) on bass, and the warm jazzy influence in the saxophone playing of Denis Heynen (BE).
Sneaky Pete is no ordinary band but is versatile in their approach to innovative and contemporary American music.
Their unique entertainment brand fuses hard-hitting grooves with beautiful sounds and surprising vocals that make you want to dream.

Johanna Red

Blues artist with Rock influences.
Over the years, she has built a world inspired by artists such as Beth Hart, B.B King, Koko Taylor, Freddie Scott, Otis Redding, Eta James, Stevie Ray Vaughan as well as Joe Bonamassa, Led Zepplin, AC/DC… Her first EP, Rise Again, released in October 2020, marked the start of her adventure.
Her debut album Stronger Than You Thought has been released on 25 May 2024.

After over 30 years on the road, Carl Wyatt has earned himself a steady place on the international blues scene and continues to do so with full force! Even though his main influences are artists such as Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker, Carl developed his own style over the years without neglecting his mentors!
His live performances are a high energy blend of Texas, Chicago and Delta Blues and led him through countries such as the UK, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Ireland, France, Northern-Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Greece and Switzerland.
During his career he has toured with artists such as "Big Bo McGee", "Little Whitt Wells", "Tino Gonzales", "Archie Lee Hooker", "T.W. Henderson", "Sharon Lewis", "Silky Sol".., recorded with all of the above mentioned artists and lived and jammed with the godfather of the Boogie "John Lee Hooker".
Carl also played with "Watermelon Slim", "Noel Redding", “Randy Hansen”, “The Nightcats” “Neal Black”, “Willie Nile”, “Rudy Rotta”, “Dani NeLo”, “The Drifters” (Backing Band), “Lisa Otey”, and many more…
His new album, entitled “Let’s Get Personal”, will be released in 2024.
