Route

On 26 September 2024, the popemobile will begin its journey at 12:45 at the Cercle Cité in Place d'Armes. The procession will then passe along Rue Chimay, Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt, Pont Adolphe, Boulevard de la Pétrusse, Rue Heine and Avenue de la Liberté. The pope will then cross the Pont Adolphe again, before continuing along Avenue Marie-Thérèse to the Palais Épiscopal (Bishop's palace), where the next stage of the papal visit will take place at around 13:15.

Spectator zones and pedestrian crossing points

Spectator zones will be set up at key points, notably along the actual route taken by the popemobile. On this route, the (Traffic Department) will set up compulsory pedestrian crossing points to ensure everyone's safety and guarantee accessibility. These crossings, located at strategic points along the popemobile's route and at the other sites involved in the papal visit, will enable pedestrians to continue to circulate while the popemobile makes its way through the city. Crossing at these compulsory crossings points will only be possible when indicated by the agents on site.
