Programme and livestream

In order to allow the general public to fully experience the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis, two giant screens will be set up, at Kinnekswiss and on Place de Paris. The live broadcast will cover all key moments of the visit from 9:45 to 18:15 on 26 September:

• 10:00: Arrival of His Holiness Pope Francis at Luxembourg airport
  • Welcome by Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess accompanied by the Prime Minister
• 11:00: Meeting of Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess with His Holiness Pope Francis at the Grand Ducal Palace
  • Audience granted by His Holiness Pope Francis to the Prime Minister
• 12:00: Meeting of His Holiness Pope Francis with the national authorities and the population at the Cercle Cité
• 12:45–13:15: Tour of the city centre of Luxembourg by His Holiness Pope Francis in the Papamobile
• 16:30: Meeting with the Catholic community at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Luxembourg
• 18:15: Departure of His Holiness Pope Francis from Luxembourg airport

The two areas for the public to watch the livestream of the Pope's visit, in the Kinnekswiss park and Place de Paris, will be free to access. Food trucks will also be available on the Kinnekswiss site as well as Rue Ste Zithe near Place de Paris .
