P+R

If you plan to come by car, the City recommends that you park in the P+R facilities (see map) served by the T1 tram line (frequency: every 5 minutes) or municipal bus network.

Real-time parking availability

Other car parks: the P+R Luxembourg Sud B in Howald (opposite the P+R Luxembourg Sud A) and car parks along the tram line in Kirchberg: Gernsback car park; Luxexpo car park; Place de l'Europe car park.

Public car parks

The car parks in the city centre will remain accessible on 26 September 2024, albeit with certain restrictions:

Knuedler car park

The car park will be closed on Thursday, 26 September between 00:00 and 20:00. It will be possible to exit the car park until 8:00 on 26 September.

Please note: This restriction also applies to parking pass holders!

Glacis car park

The north part of the Glacis car park will be closed to parking from 00:00 on Sunday, 22 September to 12:00 on Friday, 27 September. The south part of the car park will be closed from 00:00 on Wednesday, 25 September to 20:00 on Friday, 27 September.

Monterey car park

Motorists will be able to enter this car park via Avenue Monterey only, with no access from Boulevard Prince Henri between 9:00 and 19:00.

Saint-Esprit car park 

Motorists will only be able to enter and exit on Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, in the direction of the Pont Viaduc between 9:00 and 19:00.

Coach parking

The City has designated specific parking areas for coaches (see map). Visitors are asked to use the T1 tram line as much as possible to continue their journey to the city centre or Gare district.
