EMBROIDERY ON PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
In this workshop, participants explore other ways of representing the photographic medium, the ‘raw photo’. This is the medium of photography, but practised outside the norm. ‘Photo brut’ questions the boundaries between document and work of art, transcending the categories that separate them. In this age of dematerialisation of digital photography, ‘raw photography’, here through freehand embroidery, restores a body to the photograph.
