Opening times
The elevator connecting Pfaffenthal to Ville-Haute is open 7 days a week from 5:45 to 1:00.
Maintenance
The elevator is out of service once a month (from 9:00 onwards) to perform the monthly maintenance prescribed by the Grand Ducal Regulation of 25 October 1999 on elevators.

The elevator will be up and running once again at 5:45 the following day.

Capacity and access
This ultra-modern, panoramic elevator travels a distance of 60 m in 30 seconds, allowing cyclists, pedestrians, people with reduced mobility and people with pushchairs to travel quickly and easily between Ville Haute and Pfaffenthal.
With a capacity of five cyclists and ten pedestrians, the cabin can carry a payload of 5,000 kg.
The elevator can be accessed from
- Pescatore Park in Ville Haute and
- Rue du Pont in Pfaffenthal.
The Grund elevator
The elevator that connects the Plateau du Saint-Esprit (courthouse complex) and the Grund is the fastest way for pedestrians and cyclists to travel between the upper and lower parts of town.
Hours of operation
Sunday–Thursday: 6:30–2:00
Friday and Saturday: 6:30–4:00
