Media requests
The Service Communication et relations publiques (Communications and Public Relations Department), which is the main point of contact for professional journalists with the City of Luxembourg, centralises all media requests sent to the municipal administration: requests for information, interviews, reports, etc.
In processing these requests, this department works closely with the college of the mayor and aldermen and the various municipal departments to provide factual, complete information in a timely manner and to steer journalists to the appropriate spokespeople.

Press conferences and press releases
The Service Communication et relations publiques is also responsible for organising press conferences and other media events, and for authoring press releases and producing press kits.
