Trousse de 1er secours

In anticipation of the 4th edition of Mental Health Awareness Weeks (7 to 20 October 2024), the City of Luxembourg will be joining in the "Challenge 500" campaign aiming to train 500 mental-health first aiders throughout the country. Registration is now open for training sessions in Luxembourg City, which will be held at Cercle Cité.

Spearheaded by the Luxembourg Mental Health League's Information and Prevention Centre (Centre d’Information et de Prévention de la Ligue Luxembourgeoise d’Hygiène Mentale), the "Challenge 500" campaign aims to provide participants with a basic understanding of mental illnesses, teach them to identify the early signs of mental-health issues and how to approach people exhibiting them, and train them to provide first aid to people with psychiatric disorders or people experiencing a psychiatric episode.

As part of the nationwide "Challenge 500" campaign, the City will be hosting two training courses in Luxembourg City. One focuses on psychiatric disorders in adults; the second on the specific features of psychiatric disorders in adolescents.
