The Service Parcs (Parks Department) is looking for around twenty fir trees to adorn the city during the festive season.
Do you have a fir tree measuring between 8 and 20 metres in height and would like to have it removed? Then please contact our Service Parcs (with a photo of the tree if possible) by mid-August 2024.
The tree must meet certain aesthetic requirements, e.g. with regard to branch density and symmetry, and must be growing in a position removed from other trees. The fir trees will be felled and taken away by our Service Parcs free of charge starting in mid-October. The trees will then be erected in some of the capital's most emblematic places – such as Place d'Armes, Place Emile Mousel and Place Joseph Thorn – to create a welcoming, festive Christmas atmosphere during the holiday season.
