Travaux en cours

Road resurfacing works are to be carried out on Rue Cents from 6:00 on Saturday, 31 August to 18:00 on Sunday, 1 September 2024.

Traffic changes

While the works are being carried out, traffic will be affected as follow:

  • Rue Cents: the section between Rue des Alouettes and Boulevard Charles Simonis (east side) will be closed to traffic.
  • Rue de Trèves: the section between Rue des Alouettes and Boulevard Charles Simonis (west side ) will be closed to traffic.
  • The Campus Cents car park on Rue de Trèves will be closed.

The Service Circulation (Traffic Department) will ensure that proper signage is installed and will signpost the detour route.

City buses

The following changes to our AVL bus services will also apply during the works:

Bus lines 7 and 25     

  • Buses travelling towards "Cents-Waassertuerm" will not be calling at "Cents-Kierch Quai 3", "Robert Bruch Quai 1" or "Trèves Quai 1".
    • Replacement stops:
      • "Jules Salentiny Quai 1"
      • Temporary stop: "Trèves", on Boulevard Charles Simonis
  • Buses travelling towards Rue des Pommiers will not be calling at "Trèves Quai 2", "Robert Bruch Quai 2" or "Cents-Kierch Quai 4".
    • Replacement stops:
      • Temporary stop "Trèves", at 33–35, rue Cents
      • "Jules Salentiny Quai 2"

Bus lines 14 and CN1

  • Buses travelling towards "Hamilius" will not be calling at "Trèves Quai 2" (L14/CN1), "Robert Bruch Quai 3" (L14), "Robert Bruch Quai 2" (CN1) or "Gabriel de Marie Quai 2" (L14).
    • Replacement stop:
      • Temporary stop "Trèves", at 33–35, rue Cents
  • On the route towards "Cents-Waassertuerm", the "Trèves Quai 1" stop (L14) will be moved to Boulevard Charles Simonis.

Bus line 29

  • Buses travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will not be calling at "Trèves Quai 2" or "Robert Bruch Quai 2".
    • Replacement stop:
      • Temporary stop "Trèves", at 33–35, rue Cents
  • Buses travelling towards "Cents-Waassertuerm" will not be calling at "Robert Bruch Quai 1" or "Trèves Quai 1".
    • Replacement stop:
      • Temporary stop: "Trèves", on Boulevard Charles Simonis

Please note that the aforementioned works will be postponed in the event of bad weather.
