Information

This is why the Service Hygiène has installed a special container for used batteries at every public recycling collection point. The batteries are collected are processed in an environmentally-friendly way by SUPERDRECKSKËSCHT, which has also installed used battery collection points in many schools, offices of public administrations, businesses and specialist stores.

Lithium batteries and accumulators can be a fire hazard if they are damaged or short circuit. In order to avoid any short circuiting during transport, please insulate the lithium battery or accumulator's terminals using adhesive tape. Never keep damaged or swollen lithium batteries or accumulators in your home. If you notice that your lithium battery or accumulator is warm to the touch or radiating heat, immediately place it outside your home away from anything flammable and call the emergency services on 112.
