Vacancies for Level-A, Level-B and Level-C Youth Coordinators for Aktioun Bambësch

The City of Luxembourg is currently hiring level-A, level-B and level-C youth coordinators to supervise "Aktioun Bambësch" afternoon leisure activities. Successful applicants will be hired under a student labour contract.
The City also runs a level-B youth coordinator course with a focus on "Aktioun Bambësch" leisure activities (children in Cycles 1.2–4.2) in November 2024.

Vacancies for Level-A, Level-B and Level-C Youth Coordinators

You will be assigned various duties. With support from coordinators from the Centre d'animation pédagogique et de loisirs (Creative Learning Centre – CAPEL), you will be supervising and running a range of activities for the children under your care.

If you consider yourself to be athletic, energetic, responsible, motivated, patient and keen to work with children, and if you also fulfil the following criteria:

• you are a student, and at least 18 years old;
• you are a qualified level-B and level-C youth coordinator or have successfully completed the relevant CAPEL training course
• you have practical experience working with children;
• you are highly proficient in Luxembourgish.

The City of Luxembourg is offering you the chance to join the team of "Aktioun Bambësch" leisure-activity youth coordinators for the following period:

• 16 July–16 August 2024 (preparatory week included) - Aktioun Bambësch summer session

Level-B Youth Coordinator training

A 150-hour-long course comprising theoretical classes and several practical traineeships.

The programme includes:

• an induction weekend, including a compulsory overnight stay (14–15 December 2024);
• a practical traineeship course during the "Aktioun Bambësch" Christmas programme (30 December 2024 to 3 January);
• a half-day theoretical traineeship course (Saturday) at the CAPEL (the exact date will be communicated in due course);
• a weekend-long theoretical traineeship course to be selected by the candidate from among the courses offered by the SNJ;
• four days of preparation during the week preceding the "Aktioun Bambësch" summer session (15–18 July 2025);
• a practical traineeship course during the "Aktioun Bambësch" summer session (21 July–14 August 2025).

If you consider yourself to be athletic, energetic, responsible, motivated, patient and keen to work with children, and if you also fulfil the following criteria:

• you are a student, at least 18 years old (on 1 July 2025);
• you are highly proficient in Luxembourgish and have a basic knowledge of French and German.
