Visite de courtoisie de la Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of commerce à l’Hôtel de Ville

On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, the College of Aldermen of the City of Luxembourg, represented by Chief Alderman Maurice Bauer, met with a delegation from the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce at City Hall for an informal meeting, during which a range of topics were discussed. This gathering was also attended by Claude Radoux, Honorary Consul of Ukraine and member of the City of Luxembourg City Municipal Council, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Strassen and the Ukrainescht Haus Stroossen, and, on the Ukrainian side, the mayors and other political representatives of the cities of Bucha, Lviv, Lyman and Skadovsk.

Established in Luxembourg in October 2017, the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce fosters business relations between Ukraine and Luxembourg. The topics on the meeting's agenda included humanitarian aid from the City of Luxembourg to Ukraine and municipal cooperation between Luxembourg City and Ukraine, as well as the development of the Smart City concept in both countries and the sustainable development of municipalities using new digital technologies.
