For this year's Winterlights festival, 450 free-entry tickets for the outdoor ice skating rink ("Wanterpark" at Kinnekswiss) were donated to Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte, Hëllef um Terrain (HUT), the Luxembourg Red Cross, OLAI, the refugee holding centre, and Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen ASBL, as well as the disability-related associations Zesummen Aktiv (ZAK) and Trisomie21.
The City of Luxembourg is delighted by this charitable act, which will give international asylum seekers, people with special needs and people with temporary protection status a chance to enjoy this wonderful winter activity.
