Baptiste Herbin, an acclaimed international musician, was nominated at the Victoires du Jazz in 2013 for his debut album Brother Stoon and has received the Django Reinhardt Prize and the title of Musician of the Year 2019 by the Académie du Jazz. He has released four albums, including Brother Stoon (2010), Interférences (2014), Dreams and Connections. (2017), and Vista Chinesa (2020), a tribute to Brazil. Herbin performs globally, collaborating with renowned musicians like Stefano di Battista and Roy Hargrove, and accompanied Charles Aznavour in 2014. As a dedicated educator, he conducts masterclasses worldwide. In this concert, Herbin will be playing the music of Cannonball Adderley Quintet which included the great John Coltrane, Wynton Kelly and Jimmy Cobb. This hommage to the legendary recording will include top Luxembourgish and international musicians meeting for the first time, playing this timeless music.
