Robert Brandy’s first exhibition within the walls of the Galerie Indépendance was organized in 2000. At that time, with Autoportrait, it was cars that the artist
.highlighted in his works. Cars, a feat of engineering and a symbol of freedom.
Fast forward to 2025. With Past, Present, Future, Robert Brandy returns to BIL to exhibit works created throughout his artistic journey. This retrospective shows the evolution
of his work and places him back at the heart of the Luxembourg art scene. Some of these works come from the Bank’s collection, while others come directly from the
artist’s personal collection.
.2000-2025: 25 years of a long collaboration between BIL and Luxembourgish artist Robert Brandy, as a symbol of the strength of the relationships the Bank builds with its
clients, with its partners, with the Luxembourg economy, and with the artists of the national cultural scene it supports.
