Schluechthaus Sessions

On Friday, 25 April 2025, the City invites one and all to the Old Slaughterhouse (Schluechthaus) in Hollerich for the first edition of "Schluechthaus Sessions". This new concert series focuses on musical styles from a wide range of backgrounds, including hip-hop, rap and metal. With its industrial, raw character, the Schluechthaus is the perfect venue for these genres as it offers an immersive experience in a setting that breathes the energy and authenticity of underground scenes. The aim of the Schluechthaus Sessions is to broaden the musical offering in Luxembourg City and promote local and emerging artists by giving them the chance to perform at this emblematic venue in the capital. 

The first edition of Schluechthaus Sessions features two well-known rappers from the Luxembourg scene:  

• Brooze is a rapper from the south of the country who released his first album in 2020. Since then, he has filled and thrilled concert halls to the rhythm of his lyrics, which his fans know by heart.
• Sixo is a young artist from Luxembourg who began exploring musical creation with his friends. Since 2020, he has performed at most of the country's major music events.
