Roadworks on Avenue de la Faïencerie

Due to resurfacing works on Avenue de la Faïencerie, the following changes in traffic patterns will be in effect from 6:00 on Saturday, 26 April to 5:00 on Monday, 28 April 2025:

• the section of Avenue de la Faïencerie between Allée Scheffer and Rue Tony Neuman will be closed to traffic;
• the section of Allée Scheffer between Avenue de la Faïencerie and Rue Jean l'Aveugle will be restricted to traffic travelling towards Rue Jean l'Aveugle only;
• Rue Melchior Bourg-Gemen, Rue Joseph Hansen, Rue Nicolas Ries, Rue François Faber, Rue Antoine Jans and Rue Antoine Hirsch will remain accessible via Rue Léandre Lacroix. During the roadworks, the bollards between Rue Antoine Hirsch and Rue Joseph Hansen will remain lowered.

Public transport services will also be affected as follows:

Line 8 and line 30 buses

Line 8 and line 30 buses travelling towards "Lycée Michel Lucius" will be rerouted via Avenue Victor Hugo. Service to "Faïencerie-INL", "Henri VII", "Ermesinde" and "Uni Campus Limpertsberg" will be temporarily suspended. Instead, buses will call at "Théâtre", "Lycée de Garçons" and "Alen Tramsschapp".

Line 8 and line 30 buses travelling towards "Fondation Pescatore" will be rerouted via Avenue Pasteur. Service to "Batty Weber", "Uni Campus Limpertsberg", "Ermesinde", "Henri VII" and "Faïencerie-INL" will be temporarily suspended. Instead, buses will call at a temporary stop at 115–119, avenue Pasteur, and at "N. S. Pierret", "Alfred de Musset", "Allée Scheffer" and "Théâtre".

Line 19 buses

Line 19 buses travelling towards Limpertsberg will terminate temporarily at "Lycée Michel Lucius Quai 3". Service to "Batty Weber", "Uni Campus Limpertsberg", "Jean Soupert", "Lefèvre" and "Neumans Park" will be temporarily suspended.

Line 19 buses travelling towards Luxembourg Central Station will also depart from "Lycée Michel Lucius Quai 3", the temporary terminus. Service to "Neumans Park", "Lefèvre", "Jean Soupert" and "Léandre Lacroix" will be temporarily suspended. Instead, buses will call at a temporary stop at 115–119, avenue Pasteur.

Line CN7 buses

Line CN7 buses will also be rerouted via Avenue Pasteur. Service to "Batty Weber", "Uni Campus Limpertsberg", "Ermesinde", "Henri VII" and "Faïencerie-INL" will be temporarily suspended. Instead, buses will call at a temporary stop at 115–119, avenue Pasteur, and at "N. S. Pierret", "Alfred de Musset", "Allée Scheffer" and "Théâtre".
