On Sunday, 9 March 2025 at 10:00, the "Postlaf" road race will kick off from the POST Technologies site in the Gasperich-Cloche d'Or industrial park. The 10 km route will take runners through the districts of Gasperich-Cloche d'Or and Cessange.

Road closures and parking

On race day, the districts of Gasperich-Cloche d'Or and Cessange will be partially closed from 9:00 to around noon. The City of Luxembourg's Service Circulation (Traffic Department) will be setting up detours so that residents can continue to travel around these districts.

The sections of road located on the race route will be reserved for runners during the race, but will be reopened to traffic after the last runner has passed. The streets outside the perimeter of the event will remain open to traffic.

In Gasperich-Cloche d'Or, parking will be prohibited from 6:00 on 8 March to 18:00 on 9 March 2025 on Rue Émile Bian (section between Rue Henri M. Schnadt and Boulevard de Kockelscheuer). The Service Circulation will set up signs.

Please note that all public car parks will be open on the day of the race.

Changes to public transport services

From 9:00 on Saturday, 8 March to 18:00 on Sunday, 9 March 2025, service on AVL line 5 will be changed as follows:

  • In Cloche d'Or, between the "Leonardo Da Vinci" and "P+R Stade de Luxembourg" stops, line 5 buses travelling in both directions will be diverted. The stops "Émile Bian", "Schaarfen Eck" and "Stade de Luxembourg" will not be served. Buses will continue to call at the terminus "P+R Stade de Luxembourg".

From 9:00 to noon on Sunday, 9 March 2025, the following changes will apply on AVL bus lines 4, 13 and 18:

  • In Cessage, between the "Fischerhaff" and "Am Eck" stops, line 4 buses travelling in both directions will be rerouted via Chemin de Roedgen and Rue de Bouillon. There will be no service to the "Cessange, Kierch" and "Cessange, Duerf" stops. A replacement bus stop will be located on Chemin de Roedgen, near the junction with Boulevard du Brill. Buses travelling to the city centre will call at "Fischerhaff Quai 3" instead of "Fischerhaff Quai 1".
  • In Gasperich/Cessange, line 13 buses will be rerouted between the "Al Gasperich" and "Rue de Leudelange" stops in both directions via Rue de Gasperich, Route d'Esch, Rue Maurice Barrès, Rue de Cessange, Chemin de Roedgen and Rue de Bouillon before continuing on to the "Boy Konen" terminus. The same route changes will apply in the opposite direction.

    The "Klensch Quai 2" stop will be replaced by a temporary stop in front of numbers 74–76, rue de Gasperich. There will be no service to the "Louis de Froment", "Rue Verte", "Kuelebierg", "Tubishaff" and "Antoine" stops. "Rue de Leudelange Quai 2" will be replaced by "Rue de Leudelange Quai 3".
  • In Cloche d'Or, line 18 buses will be diverted in both directions between the "Stengege Wee" and "Kockelscheuer, Camping" stops. There will be no service to the "Stade de Luxembourg", "Schaarfen Eck" and "Cloche d'Or" stops. Replacement stops: "Hildegard von Bingen", "Gasperich-Waassertuerm" and "Kockelscheuer, Camping".
