"Lost children – Schueberfouer" service:

The "Lost Children" service is intended for parents and families, as well as for nurseries, childcare centres and any other organisation that is planning to visit the fair with children.

Persons with one or more children in their care may register them in advance through the "E-Commissariat" (Virtual Police Station) service using the form available here (available beginning in August): https://police.public.lu/fr/commissariat-virtuel/enfants-perdus-foire.html. Then, when they visit the Schueberfouer, they can go to the fairground police station and collect a sticker with the child's name, the telephone number of the police station, and a code that can be used by the police to look up the contact details of the person responsible for the child. In this way, the police can quickly identify lost children and find the person responsible for them. Also, anyone who finds a lost child will be able to call the Schueberfouer police station.

No alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 16:

As is the case everywhere in Luxembourg, the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 16 is prohibited at the Schueberfouer.

Hygiène (Sanitation)

Throughout the Schueberfouer, and during assembly and disassembly operations, two teams of cleaners from the City of Luxembourg's Service Hygiène> (Sanitation Department) will be on hand to ensure that the Champ du Glacis and surrounding areas are kept clean at all times. Sixteen cleaners will be assigned to clean the site and empty rubbish bins daily, from 5:00 to noon, before visitors arrive.

To promote environmental awareness during the Schueberfouer and to reduce waste, the City of Luxembourg is encouraging drink and food vendors and restaurant operators to use reusable plates and cutlery as much as possible, and to sort their waste for subsequent recycling.

To facilitate the sorting of waste, the City will be installing colour-coded bins for fairground workers, including brown bins for organic waste (kitchen waste, etc.), green bins for glass items, blue bins for paper, blue bags for "Valorlux" packaging materials, and red bins for mixed waste.

Given the success of the "voting bin" public ashtray initiative since the launch of the City's anti-littering campaign in 2019, the Service Hygiène will be putting up containers of this kind again this year at various locations around the fair. Through this amusing and participatory initiative, the City of Luxembourg seeks to encourage visitors to play their part in keeping the site clean by placing their cigarette butts in one of the voting bin's two compartments to mark their response to a question about the Schueberfouer.

HotCity Wi-Fi zone

During the Schueberfouer, HOTCITY will be providing free access to to its Wi-Fi network in Glacis. Look for the network named "HOTCITY4free@Fouer".
