Ready for Christmas and New Years' Eve? Find out which public transport services are running over the holidays.
Christmas
As in previous years, all public transport will cease to operate at 20:00 on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 (Christmas Eve), and resume at around 8:00 on Wednesday, 25 December 2024 (Christmas Day). On Christmas Day, the Sunday and public holiday timetables will apply.
New Year's Eve – City Night Bus
On New Year's Eve (night of 31 December 2024 to 1 January 2025), the eight City Night Bus lines, as well as part of the regular bus network, will continue to operate throughout the night. Certain regular lines will continue to operate at their usual evening frequency, and service will be extended from the last trip of their regular schedule to around 6:00 on the morning of New Year's Day. The City Night Bus lines will operate according to their usual schedule until 6:30 on the morning of New Year's Day.
Elevators
On New Year's Eve (night of 31 December 2024 to 1 January 2025), the public elevators connecting Pfaffenthal – Ville Haute and Pfaffenthal – Grund will continue to operate all night.
New Year's Day
On Wednesday, 1 January 2025 (New Year's Day), transport services will resume at around 8:00.
