CAHIER d'images V2

Casino Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the launch for CAHIER d'images., edited by graphic artist and designer Reza Kianpour.

In a bid to give materiality (and duration) to images otherwise scanned with a quick scroll, Reza Kianpour launched CAHIER d'images in 2017. Initially produced as a series of 16-page A5 notebooks containing mainly his work, the project quickly expanded. Reza decided to broaden the focus by working with photographers, illustrators and designers from near and far. The result is a delicate showcase, somewhere between a map of the world and a personal moodboard.

Following the publication in 2022 and presentation at Casino of a first book of 64 pages, Reza invited Kevin Muhlen, director of Casino, to curate this second volume. The riso printing was done in-house by Charles Rouleau (Casino Display coordinator). Together, they will take over the foyer of Casino to combine images and sounds to the rhythm of the risograph on the evening of the launch.
