These classes will be held outdoors in a safe area in Luxembourg City and are based on a programme that combines psychology, teaching techniques and sports science. These classes are aimed at adults who have never learned to ride a bike or who want a refresher course.
This adult bike school initiative is part of the City's active travel and bicycle policy, which is structured around four pillars: infrastructure, a broad range of bike-related services, a public-relations campaign and the creation of a monitoring entity. Through this project, the City will also be helping to improve safety for cyclists in urban areas.
