The latest issue of ons stad explores different aspects of the Kirchberg district. Nowadays, the district is home to a host of European institutions and is renowned for being a hotbed of modern urban development projects. But that's not all. Building on its agricultural past, Kirchberg is simultaneously the hub of radio and television broadcasting in the Grand Duchy, a veritable open-air museum showcasing numerous works of art by local and international creators, and a district-wide arboretum.

In addition to photographs produced specially for ons stad by several contemporary photographers, this edition features a selection of documents and historical photographs from the collections housed at the Luxembourg City Photothèque and the Luxembourg City Archives, accompanied by our authors' insightful contributions.

Transition to a free-subscription model

Starting with issue no. 131, which will be published in May 2025, the magazine will no longer be distributed to all households in Luxembourg City but only to subscribers, who can sign up free of charge. The next two issues will contain a form for readers who wish to sign up for a free subscription and receive the magazine wherever they live. You can also sign up online by clicking on the link below. This new subscription model will not only allow us to make better use of limited resources, but will also help us reduce our environmental footprint.
