VDL rental housing

Luxembourg City owns 49 housing units (houses and apartments) in different neighbourhoods and, as new construction projects are completed, more units will become available in the future. In order to improve the services offered by the City with regard to the allocation of its various housing units, interested and eligible parties must now register on a waiting list, using the registration form.

Eligibility criteria and allocation rules

Housing is allocated based on eligibility criteria (applicant must not be the owner, co-owner, or emphyteutic, superficiary or usufructuary lessee of a dwelling, income, etc.) as well as allocation rules that take into account the basic socio-economic situation of the applicant (place of work, occupational experience, etc.).

Available housing

The College of Aldermen regularly allocates available accommodation units to wait-listed applicants and is currently putting up three available housing units for rent.
