Vernissage of mural by SARE

Passers-by have been able to admire the work of Parisian artist PRO 176 for the past 4 months, but the time has come to dress up LE MUR in something new for the 16^th iteration of this art wall project.

For a period of two months beginning on 21 November 2024, the work of young Luxembourg graffiti artist SARE, who is passionate about typography and colour, will be showcased on Rue du St Esprit. His lettering – which sometimes boasts vibrant colour combinations, and at other times revels in monochromatic palettes – has a futuristic feel and reflects his extensive graffiti skills. SARE's lettering – an artistic form of font design – stands out due to its particularly elegant and innovative style. In urban art, lettering has evolved beyond the simple act of writing; it has become a form of visual communication that plays with lines, shapes and colours. Distorted lines and stretched, dynamic movement convey the emotions of the "writer" and become their own personal signature – an art form that SARE evidently masters.
