As of 3 March 2025, the sessions of the Municipal Council will be available online with simultaneous intrepreting into French. These sessions are streamed live on vdl.lu and now also on the City of Luxembourg's YouTube channel. This new service, in addition to the interpreting into German sign language provided since 2012, is a crucial step towards bringing citizens closer to local decision-making. It enables a greater number of people to follow the debates and decisions of the Municipal Council, either live or by consulting the archives, and make political life more accessible.
