Blues Impact

'Blues Impact' delivers a contemporary blues sound that packs a punch. The band's name, "Impact," perfectly captures the power and intensity of their music. Drawing on influences from jazz, funk, rock, and soul, the band skillfully weaves these elements together with great sensitivity. While the band primarily plays their own compositions in a modern blues style, they also put their own spin on cover material while staying true to its essence. And the way in which the four band members master the blues feeling is truly impressive! Jochen Lauer's bass lines growl and drive the music forward, complemented by Thomas Wainer's fiery and plaintive lead guitar solos. Fritz Scheerer's bluesy voice effortlessly conveys both sorrow and passion, while his harmonica playing adds a soulful touch. Drummer Daniel Weber brings fresh creativity to well-worn blues patterns through his nuanced playing and inventive variations.
