As part of the overall drive to boost local businesses in the capital, the City has undertaken a number of initiatives, such as "Gare Grooves", the installation of new Christmas lights and decorations in the Gare district, the opening of pop-up stores, and the creation of the "Design Hub". Two new projects, namely "Ondulations" (Ripples) and "Espace en flux" (Space in Flux), follow in these footsteps with their aim to create a warm, friendly atmosphere in the Gare disctrict's shopping areas in order to enhance its appeal and attract a wider range of visitors. They are therefore part of an overall drive to revitalise shopping in the capital.
