Discover the fascinating journey of creating an immersive experience, from the initial idea to its public release. The artist will unveil the key stages of the process: concept design, preliminary sketches, 2D/3D modeling, animatics, motion capture, development in Unity, and sound design.

Offering humor, warmth, and deep reflections, Oto’s Planet combines immersive VR technology with a quirky narrative that invites users to explore the comedic chaos of cohabiting in space.

“Oto's Planet follows the peaceful life of Oto, who loves nothing more than lounging in his hammock and enjoying the fruits of the single tree on his tiny planet. His tranquility is shattered when Exo, a hyperactive and cumbersome cosmonaut, crash-lands in a small spacecraft. The ensuing attempts at communication and cohabitation between these two unlikely roommates are fraught with difficulty.” (Gwenael François)

Gwenael François is a French/Luxembourgish director and producer, co-founder of Skill Lab. He directed film shorts and story driven music videos blending creativity and technology.
