Building on the success of its first Hackathon in 2023, the QuattroPole city network is organising its second cross-border Hackathon on 16 & 17 May 2025, on the theme of transforming city centres. This unique event will bring together innovation enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds, simultaneously in the cities of Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier. Registration is now open, inviting participants to imagine innovative solutions for reinventing the city centres of tomorrow.

At the first QuattroPole economic forum held on 7 November 2024 in Saarbrücken, the debate surrounded the challenges of transforming city centers. Four main pillars were identified: the management of vacant commercial spaces, the retail sector, the digitalisation of city centres and tourism strategies.

This QuattroPole 2025 Hackathon will continue the discussion on this topic, with a €3,000 prize for the winning team. The event promises to be a formidable challenge for all participants.
