On Saturday, 5 April 2025, the City of Luxembourg will be teaming up with "Repair Café Lëtzebuerg" to host the sixth "Repair Café @ Schluechthaus" – an event that is part of the City's wider policy on combating climate change. Volunteers with the knowledge and skills to repair damaged or broken items (clothes, small electrical appliances, bikes, toys, small items of furniture, etc.) will be on site to help visitors give their treasured possessions a new lease on life. Visitors may be asked to assist the repairers, who will be more than happy to share their know-how with them.
