Following the popular success of recent years, the City Open Air Cinema, presented by the Luxembourg City Cinémathèque, is back again for a new edition of alfresco screenings in the moonlight. For the first time, the Cinémathèque will set up shop in one of the most beautiful squares in the very heart of the city, on Place Guillaume II. With its giant screen, hundreds of seats and convivial atmosphere, the newly refurbished ‘Knuedler’ transforms itself into a gigantic open-air cinema for a larger-than-life cinematic experience that combines thrills and summer fun.

From Moonrise Kingdom to Top Gun and from Alfred Hitchcock to Charlie Chaplin: the programme is varied and entertaining, offering classics and more contemporary films as well as cult movies that vibrate in tune with the magic of cinema. A beautiful selection of films that will present more stars than the sky can count…

So we look forward to seeing you… right under the stars!
