"Fréijoer op der Gëlle Fra"

The first "Fréijoer op der Gëlle Fra" was so successful that it will be returning this year to Place de la Constitution with its extensive programme of activities. From Friday, 4 April to Sunday, 27 April 2025, this iconic square in the heart of the city will be transformed: spring decorations, custom street furniture, a pétanque court and catering stands will make it a lively place to usher in the warm weather. "Fréijoer op der Gëlle Fra" will also feature live music on selected dates. Come on out to relax and enjoy the festivities!

Practical information

  • Admission to the concerts and activities is free!
    • The bars, food and drink stands, and terraces installed on Place de la Constitution will be open every day from 11:00 to 21:00 and until 22:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and the evenings before public holidays.
  • Place de Constitution is easy to get to by bus ("Roosevelt" stop) and tram ("Hamilius" station).
  • Public toilets will be open during the event hours, and there will be a mobile toilet on-site for people with reduced mobility.
